Know in which Pension Fund Administrator (AFP) is affiliated is crucial information for all formal workers in Chile. This affiliation is a legal obligation that allows part of the monthly remuneration to be allocated to a savings fund to guarantee a secure retirement in the future.
However, many workers are unaware of the AFP to which they are affiliates, which can generate some uncertainty about their future pension. Fortunately, obtaining this information is a simple and accessible procedure that can be done without leaving home.
What are the AFP multi-funds? Which one should you be on? In this video I try to explain it to you in simple.
About 40% of people are not in the bottom that would correspond to them according to their age. That is why I ask you for help so that this information reaches those who may need it. pic.twitter.com/gvDZUb0e1T

The Superintendence of Pensions (SP) offers an online option to consult the AFP membership for free. To do this, it is only necessary to enter the SP website, enter the RUT number without periods or hyphens, accept the terms and conditions, and provide some personal information such as name, telephone number, and email.
Once the process is complete, the system will generate a membership certificate in PDF format that can be downloaded and printed. A copy of the certificate will also be sent to the email provided. With this information in hand, workers will be able to be clear to which AFP they are affiliates and be aware of your pension situation.
Additionally, there are other ways to obtain the certificate of affiliation to a AFP. Those who prefer to carry out the process in person can go to an office of the Superintendence of Pensions or any ChileAtiende unit to request the document. It is also possible to send a letter to the SP with the personal data and an explicit request for the certificate, and the response will arrive in approximately 20 days.
