Aerosmith resumed their residency in Las Vegas. In September 2022, After forcibly interrupting their stay due to the pandemic, the band returned to the city with several shows. The plan was for the dates to be extended until December, but the health problems of Steven Tyler caused them to end a month earlier than planned.
Half a year later, the group returned to action to detail the coordinates of their farewell tour. “After ten world tours and playing to over 100 million fans, It’s time for one last chance!”raised the ad.
The concert series –presented under the name “Peace out”– it will begin on September 2 in Philadelphia and end on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, reported La Tercera de Chile.
It will be 40 shows spread between the United States and Canadawhere Aerosmith will have The Black Crowes as a support band. However, the group born in 1970 will suffer an important Absent: Joey Kramer, drummer and founder, who was also not during the residency in Las Vegas.
“While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, unfortunately decided not to attend to the currently scheduled tour dates to focus all of his attention on his family and his health,” a statement said.
The itinerary for now does not consider submissions outside of North America.
