Aeroméxico will resume flights to Cuba with seven weekly frequencies

Aeroméxico will resume its commercial flights to Havana as of October 30, with seven weekly frequencies according to a company statement.

Giancarlo Mulinelli, Senior Vice President of Global Sales, highlighted that Aeroméxico is proud to reconnect its travelers with the beauty, history, culture and gastronomic richness of Havana, after a break due to the COVID-19 contingency.

The company began operating the Cuba destination in 2011.

According to the Aviacionline.com site, which cites statistics from the AFAC, during the first half of 2022 between Mexico and Cuba, 85,221 passengers were mobilized with an occupancy factor of 50.1% on 894 flights. The data represents an increase of 1070.3% compared to the same period last year.
