Aerolíneas Argentinas will transport more than 170 thousand passengers during the carnival weekendexceeding by 15% those transported in the same period of 2020, prior to the start of the pandemic, company sources reported today.
Between this Friday and Wednesday, February 22, the flag company will transport 170,670 passengers within the country, which represents 15% more than the passengers transported during the 2020 carnival holidays.
This means that more than 28,000 passengers per day average They will travel from one point of the country to another, with the 10 most chosen destinations being: Bariloche, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Mendoza, Iguazú, Córdoba, Salta, Tucumán, Mar del Plata and Neuquén.
These destinations represented 55% of the total movement of the next carnival weekend.

These numbers are very gratifying because they show us that the domestic market has sustained growth and we were already able to exceed the numbers prior to the pandemic,” he said.
