The Association of Bank Employees of Uruguay (AEBU) decided not to recharge the ATMs of nine departments during the weekend because the union continues “without receiving proposals or establishing areas of collective bargaining in good faith,” it reported this Thursday in a statement.
The measure will affect the guards at Banco República (Brou) ATMs from this Friday at 00:00 until Monday, February 14 at 12:50 in all branches of Tacuarembó, Cerro Largo, Treinta y Tres, Lavalleja, Canelones (except the Atlántida branch), Florida, Durazno, Flores and San José.
In addition, AEBU announced that “overtime is not performed” and shift changes are not accepted.
This is the second union action announced this week.
