This measure is due to article 269 of the Electoral Code, which states that advertising agencies that wish to provide the services provided for in Chapter III (Electoral Campaign and Propaganda) must be registered with the Electoral Tribunal.
Advertising agencies that wish to advertise electoral propaganda for political parties or candidates, partisan states or by free application have until September 30, 2022 to register with the Directorate for Oversight of Political Financing of the Electoral Court (TE), as announced the entity.
This measure obeys article 269 of the Electoral Code, which states that advertising agencies that wish to provide the services provided for in Chapter III (Electoral Campaign and Propaganda) must be registered with the Electoral Court, for which they will have to provide a series of documents. In addition, this registration must be made, at the latest, within four (4) months following the issuance of the decree regulating the elections.
