The spokesperson for the National Police, Colonel Diego Pesqueirareported this Saturday afternoon that they are in a very advanced phase investigations related to the death of the young woman Perla Jokasta Santos Pacheco19 years old, which occurred in the early morning of December 26 in the Los Guandules sector, in the National District.
Pesqueira explained that the young woman died from a wound caused by a firearm projectile and that, from the moment the incident occurred, the authorities have developed multiple errands investigations, including interviews, evidence gathering and analysis of key information.
“He research process is quite advanced and has allowed us to strengthen the clarification of the case“said the police spokesperson, who assured that in the next few hours a timely and conclusive response will be offered, in coordination with the Public Ministry.
Yesterday, the National Police reported that the 19-year-old girl died due to a head shot.
Dismay over the case
- The event generated consternation between family and residents from the area, who demanded a prompt investigation and punishment for those responsible.
According to versions offered by relatives, the incident occurred around 2:45 in the morningafter the young woman left her residence, where she was sitting at the door.
Maria Franciscagrandmother of the deceased, reported that Perla had no intention of going out that night. However, several acquaintances arrived and invited her to take a ride on a motorcycle.
According to family members, the young woman got on the engine with one or more companions. Hours later, the driver went to the girl’s residence to report the incident and the body was found on the public road.
