Along these lines, the chief of staff highlighted that the legislative budget proposal for fiscal year 2025, has been made in a “realistic and decentralist spirit.”
“All regional and local governments will receive the same or more than what they were given in fiscal year 2024. “We guarantee that the 2025 budget, prepared on the basis of information from subnational governments, will be used in the best way, with the legal framework that we have implemented thanks to the legislative powers delegated by Congress,” he said, quoted by Andina.
Adrianzén highlighted the importance of local authorities taking the initiative to strengthen their capacities, which is why they will strengthen coordination with all entities in charge of supervising and controlling the use of public resources, with the aim of guaranteeing an increase in the level of execution.
“Budget 2025 will help if used effectively. Execution is an engine of development,” he said.
