Santo Domingo. The Dominican Rehabilitation Association (ADR) invites professionals and amateurs to participate in the second edition of the “No Limits Photography Contest”.
This initiative, which has the endorsement of the National Disability Council (CONADIS), aims to raise awareness through the art of photography about people with some type of disability in a dignified and empowered way, either as they perceive it or how they live it
Proposals may be documentary or artistic. These must communicate and explain themselves, through photographic language, the use of framing, composition, focus, lighting or any resource that does not imply the alteration of photography by digital or analogous means.
The prizes announced for this edition are: for first place the sum of RD$150,000; for the second place RD$100,000 and a third place of RD$75,000, as well as scholarships for diplomas and courses, which are due to the support of Banco Popular, Refidomsa, Consorcio Energético Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM), Energas, Grupo Ramos, EGE Haina, Banreservas, Seguros Crecer, ITLA, National Health Service (SNS), ACAP, Universal, Huawei and Chavón.
The juries will select six winners and seven special mentions for outstanding works.
The works must be delivered to the ADR Headquarters, on Mary Pérez Viuda Marranzini street, corner of Leopoldo Navarro, Miraflores, Santo Domingo, National District. Until September 1, 2022.
