The National Council of the Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP) called the teachers to a day of simultaneous mobilization in the outskirts of all educational districts in the country for Friday March 25, already another protest similar in the surroundings of the regional offices of the Ministry of Education (Minerd) on Wednesday 30, claiming a 25 percent increase in wages.
In a statement published on its social networks, the agency declared that there is still no agreement on the salary issue, because the authorities continue to offer an increase of seven percent.

“This intransigent attitude of the Ministry will take us to the usual scenario, to the Minerd headquarters where we will leave the permanent camp of resistance and magisterial dignity installed,” the document indicates.
The union also claims compliance with the demands on the ARS Semma, the completivo de tandas, the Prepara program, the payment of licenses and the installation of the teaching career tribunal.
Likewise, they demand incentives, the evaluation of the performance of retirees and pensioners, and the improvement of education for children and adolescents, with emphasis on the execution of the agreement signed on June 30, 2021 between the institution, the Minerd and the president. of the Republic, Luis Abinader.
In addition to the mobilizations, the group reported that they will be holding meetings with the municipal and zonal educational community from March 18 to 30.
Likewise, it instructs the sectionals to convene and guide all the union-based and pedagogical units to gather the educators in their respective centers to make them aware of the demands and incorporate theirs.
He warned that the plan of struggle will be developed in an ascending manner until reaching the last consequences in order to achieve the demands.
