Madrid. The Dominican Association of Rum Producers (ADOPRON) presented ADOPRON Rum during the first Dominican Week in Madrid. A special blend created as a representative symbol of the Dominican rum industry, designed to highlight the designation of origin Dominican Rum and highlight the quality and authenticity of the national product composed of the best distilled and aged alcohols from all the member producers of the guild.
At the event, the union gave special recognition to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ito Bisonó, for his support to the sector and his key role in the consolidation of the designation of origin of Dominican rum.
Upon receiving an exclusive edition of ADOPRON Rum, the minister highlighted the importance of this product as a symbol of Dominican culture and heritage and as a reflection of the quality that distinguishes the nation on the global stage.
This special rum is not only a tribute to our identity, but also an example of how the Dominican industry meets the highest quality standards, projecting our tradition and excellence to the world,” said Circe Almánzar, official spokesperson for ADOPRON, accompanied by Alberto Nogueira, President of the ADOPRON Board of Directors; José Enrique Yáber, from Yazoo Investment; and Mery Melo, from Casa Brugal.
“Dominican rum is an engine of our economy, contributing more than RD$15,000 million to the treasury and generating more than 29,000 direct and indirect jobs in the country,” highlighted the executive.
ADOPRON Rum was conceived as a tool of economic diplomacy, designed to represent the country in international meetings and diplomatic missions, raising the image of the Dominican Republic abroad.
This exclusive product, not available on the market, aims to attract the attention of new investors and strengthen the recognition of the designation of origin of Dominican rum.
