Adolescent will be detained for a year while a homicide is investigated at the Rufo Garay Institute in Colón

The Public Ministry, through the Superior Prosecutor for Adolescents, held a multiple hearing within the process that is followed by a 16-year-old adolescent for the crime of attempted homicide.
In this hearing, the apprehension of this adolescent, the exceptional search carried out on September 22, was legalized and charges were filed for homicide and attempted multiple homicide and the most severe precautionary measure was requested, which was the provisional detention of the adolescent, until it concludes. the term of investigation.
The term of investigation, according to the prosecutor, was set at one year, so the young man will remain in prison during this time awaiting his trial.
This young man is accused of the death of a student at the Rufo Garay Institute, in the province of Colón, and of having injured two other students aged 16 and 17.
