Changes to labor outsourcing continue to generate concern about the impact on the labor market. The president of the Exporters Association (ADEX), Julio Pérez, considered that the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) deceived them before making this regulatory change.
“There was a meeting that was suspended and we arranged to do it on another date, but the next day they take out the supreme decree on outsourcing. We complained and they took out the unionization thing. We feel mocked by the Ministry,” he said.
In statements to Peru21explained that “confidence has been lost” in the MTPE and said that they will sit down to talk when clear signals are given to solve the problem.
“They have sent us letters, invitations, but every time we attend they lie to us. We did not break the dialogue, ”she stressed.

Yesterday, the main unions sent a letter to the National Labor Council of the MTPE rejecting the invitation to be part of a working group that will address the problem of people who provide services on digital platforms.
“As long as the conditions are not met to discuss in advance the issues that the MTPE has approved unilaterally and without consultation, we reaffirm our position of not participating,” they indicated.
