Adess reports pending payments of “Alimentate” are due to a coding error

Adess:  pagos pendientes de "Aliméntate" se deben a error de codificación

Santo Domingo – The Social Subsidies Administrator (ADESS) reported today that the operation of the pending payment corresponding to the Alimentate subsidy, which has affected only 18,000 of the 1,550,000 beneficiary Dominican households, during the months of January and February 2023, is due to a Coding error in the user database, which occurred during the data homogenization process between banking institutions.

In a statement addressed to the beneficiary families of the Supérate card, the entity explained that the operations team is working in collaboration with the corresponding financial institutions to correct the situation as soon as possible.

“Given this situation, we express our heartfelt apologies and concern, because we know how necessary these contributions are for the comprehensive well-being of the most vulnerable families. We guarantee that we are very close to the solution”, states the entity.

Likewise, Adess assured the beneficiaries that the efforts to regularize the operation will allow the corresponding deposits to be made quickly and retroactively to all those affected.

Appealing to the patience and understanding of families, the Social Subsidies Administrator took the opportunity to suggest that the population keep informed of updates through its digital platforms and social networks.
