At 31 years old, the Bolivian Adelina Díaz lives a dream. After four years of dedicating professionally at makeupthis month she is embarking for Mexico to join the official team of Miss Universe makeup artists, an achievement that describes it as “a blessing” and the fruit of his passion and effort.
Adelina says that her love for makeup began as a simple hobby. “I liked doing makeup and making videos. I watched tutorials on YouTube and TikTok and I tried to recreate them in myself and in my friends, who offered themselves as models,” she recalls.
This hobby became a profession when she decided to formally train at Mary Lizzie’s school, where she stood out as one of the best students in her class.
Her talent took her to Santiago de Chile, where auditioned to be part of the prestigious MUBA team in the Miss Universe. Among more than 50 makeup artists, Adelina She was one of the 13 selected. “It was an incredible moment; knowing that they would see my work on one of the most important stages in the world is something I still can’t believe,” she says excitedly.
