The Executive Branch appointed Ada Rosa Basulto Liewald as the new executive president of the State Procurement Supervisory Body (OSCE), according to Supreme Resolution No. 021-2022-EF, published today in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The position of executive president of the OSCE is appointed for three years renewable for an additional period.
The resolution was endorsed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Kurt Burneo.
Who is Ada Rosa Basulto Liewald?
Ada Basulto graduated in Administrative Law and Public Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). She has national and international diplomas and master’s degrees focused on public management and contracting.
According to her professional LinkedIn profile, the new executive president of the State Procurement Supervisory Body worked independently as a consultant on public management and state procurement.
She also worked as an administrative management adviser to the general management in Ositrán for three months and as general director of the resource administration resources office in the Integrated Health System (SIS) for a period of four months.
It should be noted that from 2010 to 2012, she fulfilled functions in the body that she presides over today, in the position of member and president of the State Contracting Court.
