In the early hours of this Wednesday, April 19, military and government authorities led the act of raising the tricolor flag in the National Pantheon, beginning the activities for the 213 years of the first cry for independence of Venezuela.
“From the National Pantheon they lead the raising of the Patriotic Tricolor, in commemoration of the 213 years of the first cry of freedom that forged the Independence of Venezuela” published on the social network Twitter the official press account of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, FANB.
Along with photographs of the activity, he highlighted the “213th Anniversary of the Proclamation of our most precious asset: The Independence of Venezuela. Day on which we declare ourselves as a free, independent and sovereign Homeland, ”he indicated.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, and other national authorities.
Honors in the Bolívar square in Caracas for April 19
Also this Wednesday, from Bolivar Square in Caracascity authorities paid honors in the protocol act in commemoration of the 213 years of the Act of April 19, 1810.
The activity was led by the Mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the Head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández.
