The Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) postponed throughout the country the parades and events called for this May 1st due to the instability of the weather and the weather forecast for the next few hours, as announced on the Sunday News of Cuban television. .

According to the information, the cultural and recreational activities scheduled for this Monday will be carried out in the territories where possible, which will remain a holiday, as established in Cuban legislation.

The parades and rallies for Workers’ Day will take place simultaneously next Friday, May 5, a day that will be a labor break throughout the country, according to the CTC.

Since this Sunday morning, western Cuba has been affected by strong electrical storms and more rains are expected in the coming hours, according to reports from the Institute of Meteorology.
