Active health yellow coverage from tomorrow in Caacupé

In addition to the National Police, the Ministry of Health is also preparing the Caacupé 2023 operation, with assistance crews along the pilgrims’ journey. From tomorrow Sunday the yellow coverage is already activated.

Red, yellow and green, like a traffic light, are the colors used to identify levels of reinforcement of health officials in the coverage of Caacupé, the first being the most important.

On November 27 and 28, that is, tomorrow and Monday, as well as December 3 and 15, yellow coverage is implemented. The dates December 5, 6, 7 and 8 are red, while the other days the novena are green.

According to the health portfolio, 1,831 health professionals, including doctors, nurses, obstetricians and support staffare assigned to this operation to provide assistance in the 28 permanent posts located in the departments of Cordillera, Caaguazú, Paraguarí and Central and in the 41 provisional posts that will be located in Cordillera, Caaguazú, Central, Paraguarí, National Anti-Rabies Center and Capital.

It is also foreseen aeromedical evacuation, in case of emergencies, with a helicopter that will be at the disposal of the Ministry. The emergency lines are 141 for ambulances, 132 for firefighters and 911 for the National Police.

The director of Networks and Health Services, Leticia Pintos, presented the schedule and explained that the objective is to guarantee health care to the population.
