Active cases of covid-19 in the country fall below 14,000

Colombia reported 2,257 new infections of coronavirus after processing 44,856 tests (17,038 of PCR and 27,818 of antigens).

With the positives of this Wednesday, November 17, the country accumulates a historical figure of 5’038.544 covid infections.

Of them, 4,879,456 have recovered and 13,933 are still active.

In addition, the total of tests analyzed in the last year and 8 months is 27,510,452.

Bogotá (1’459,032), Antioquia (763,211), Valle del Cauca (414,107), Atlántico (335,549) and Cundinamarca (265,729), the areas with the most historical positives.

The reported deaths, meanwhile, were 47, with 41 being those registered in previous days.

And the total number of deaths from the pandemic is 127,912.

As of November 15, 61,195,314 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 51,955,048 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 22,989,636.
