Activated National Anti-Blockade Movement

This Friday, the National Anti-Blockade Movement was activated, in charge of publicizing the impact of the unilateral sanctions imposed by the United States (USA) against Venezuela.

From the Poliedro de Caracas – where the installation of the Venezuela Nueva Época Congress took place -, the Vice President of the Republic pointed out that this movement must be activated on a national and international scale.

“One of the most important tasks of this congress is to activate the anti-blockade movement at the national and international level, to continue fighting for our resources and heritage,” Rodríguez said in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.

During the installation of the Congress, Rodríguez recalled that Venezuela has been the victim of more than 700 unilateral coercive doctors by the United States, Canada, countries of the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom and Panama, however, they have not achieved anything and much less bend the Venezuelan people.

In this regard, he stressed that, in the coming days, the trial on the Venezuelan gold seized by the Bank of England.

Venezuela will be represented by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

“In the next few days, the judgment on the Venezuelans’ gold will be debated in London and we cannot allow them to decide for us and our resources,” he said.

The Bank of England holds 31 gold bars; valued at around 1,600 million euros.

The trial would take place in July of last yearHowever, the sessions were canceled due to the pandemic situation.
