Faced with the heavy rainfall that is recorded in the national territory due to the passage of tropical wave No. 41 through the Venezuelan coastal strip, the sectoral vice president for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, urged the population to “Keep calm but without failing to be cautious”.
During a telephone contact with the program coffee in the morningbroadcast by Venezuelan Television (VTV), the sector vice president assured that the national government maintains the entire emergency care and assistance system deployed to guarantee the safety of Venezuelans.
“We continue to work and we are very alert, to deploy in case the people so require,” assured the Admiral in Chief.
In this regard, Ceballos pointed out that emergency reporting channels are available 0800-PCIVIL-1 (0800-7248451), the system 1×10 of the Good Government and the Quadrants of Peace platform.
He explained that the heavy rains, which could last more than 48 hours, have affected some roads and land in the country.
Finally, he pointed out that since April, more than 64,000 people have been affected, who are being cared for by the national government.
