The entities also point out that the union is unprecedented and intends to speed up the investigation of acts that attack the electoral process, enabling the accountability of their authors and discouraging acts that violate political rights and the dissemination of fake news. Complaints will be received by the email condepe@sp.gov.br.

The council will forward, within 24 hours, the cases to the Public Ministry of São Paulo, or the Public Defender’s Office of the Union, depending on the competence of the Justice to investigate. The expectation is that, with the signature of the term, the investigations will be initiated within 48 hours.
