The representatives of the chambers of the private schools of the province of Buenos Aires promised to accompany the provincial policy, in coordination with the national government, in redistribute school fee adjustments for the 2023 school yearafter signing an act with the Buenos Aires Director General of Culture and Education, Alberto Sileoni, at the headquarters of the educational portfolio in La Plata.
In a statement it was indicated that, in this way, the institutions grouped in the provincial private management entities will be able to face the payment of salaries and other costs, making it easier for families to support education for their children.
The increase in quotas in March will be 16.8%
“Furthermore, contemplating the inflationary reduction proposed by the Secretary of Internal Commerce of the Nation, in the minutes the provincial authorities commit themselves to join efforts jointly in order to accompany the achievement of that objective,” indicated the educational portfolio. .
It was specified that the meeting participated Minister Alberto Sileoni; the chief of staff of the DGCyE Pablo Urquiza; the administrative undersecretary, Diego Turkenich; the Undersecretary of Education, Claudia Bracchi; and the director of Private Education, Marcela Cabadas.
Also present were representatives of the Association of Argentine Private Educational Entities (Adeepra), the Civil Association of Private Education Institutes of Buenos Aires (Acidepba), the Association of Argentine Private Institutions (Aiepesa), and the Catholic Education Council (CEC). , of the Evangelical Christian Education Council (CECE), of the Educational Management Space (EGE) and of the Federation of Educational Cooperatives of the Province of Buenos Aires (Feceaba).
Increase percentages
According to what was agreed in the document, “educational entities with a state contribution at the Initial, Primary, Secondary, Technical Secondary, Agrarian and specialized in Art and Higher levels, will distribute, between the months of March and July inclusive, the fee increases already established for this school year and/or to be established in accordance with current jurisdictional regulations”.

The percentages of cumulative increases according to the months included in the agreement They are as follows: March 16.80%, April 3.35%, May 3.35%, June 3.35% and July 4%.
The agreement will be valid until July 31 of this year.
In the event that the indicators taken into account for setting the respective tariff ceilings (IPC and salary policy) present deviations from what was foreseen, the DGCyE promised to convene the entities to readjust them.
