Acodeco receives more than 190 complaints that exceed 2 million 850 thousand balboas

The Authority for Consumer Protection and Defense of Competition (Acodeco), in the past month, formally received 191 complaints from different consumers, throughout the country, for a total amount of B/.2,858,444.41.

Consumer claims were filed against 42 different activities, among which 30 stand out against real estate for B/.2,419.547.55; 15 cases against funeral homes (B/.340.00).

In addition, 15 complaints against hotels or vacation plans (B/.26,714.97); 15 cable television (B/.1,208.03); 13 against car agencies (B/.232,309.30); 9 auto repair shops (B/.15,562.17); 8 travel agencies (B/.41,381.32).

Acodeco also received 11 for sales of household appliances and electronic equipment (B/.4,610.98); 8 complaints against furniture factories (B/.5,986.00); 6 by telephone (B/.3,35.68); 6 used car sales (B/.61,143.94), among others.
