The Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice (TJRJ) marked the defendant’s judgment on March 13 accused of murdering Congolese Moïse Kabagambe in a kiosk in Barra da Tijuca. The popular jury is scheduled for 11am in the jury court.
The crime was committed on January 24, 2022, around 9:30 pm, according to the complaint offered by the Public Prosecution Service of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ). Moïse’s family says he was beaten to death after charging a late payment.
Fabio Pirineus da Silva and Aleson Cristiano de Oliveira Fonseca will be responsible for qualified homicide, according to articles 121, paragraph 2, of the Penal Code. Brendon Alexander Luiz da Silva, who also responds for the crime, has not yet been marked.
According to the MPRJ, the trio committed homicide with cruelty and treated Moïse as if it were “a venomous animal”, undressing with a club of baseball, punches, kicks and slaps. Also according to the complaint, the crime was committed for futile reasons, resulting from a discussion, and was used an appeal that made it impossible to defend the victim, as the young man was overthrown and immobilized while beaten and then had his feet and hands tied.
