Accused in the death of a couple from La Guáyiga denies the accusation

Dylan Alberto Ortiz arrived at the Santo Domingo Oeste Permanent Attention Office at 10:08 in the morning, where he will be known as a measure of coercion, after being accused of being the main person responsible for the death of the couple the guáyiga.

Despite the fact that the hearing is scheduled for 12:00 noon, the accused was taken to the prosecutor’s office by the authorities two hours before to be interviewed by the chief prosecutor of Santo Domingo Oeste.

A source told Diario Libre that the defendant denied the version of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, assuring that he had no participation in the event, however, according to the authorities, Dylan was captured in a camera in a supermarket in Boca Chica buying the materials for later finalize the couple.

The victims are Luis Miguel Jáquez Rodríguez, 32, and Elizabeth Almarante Pacheco, 24, who were reported missing and their bodies found 15 days later in a septic tank in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos.

The others named are the brothers Eddy Manuel and José Miguel Álvarez Ramírez, residents in front of the place where the bodies were found. Also those named Guillermo “El primo”, Jefry and Leonardo Alejandro Méndez Mojica, the latter, who rented the SUV in which they transported the couple. They are all fugitives.

The only one who has been known to have a measure of coercion in the case is José Alfredo Ventura Tupete, accused of complicity for “erasing evidence” and who was given a year in pretrial detention. The authorities have not yet revealed the motive for the double crime.
