Accumulated cases of Covid already exceed those of 2021, eight days after the end of the year

At hours of Christmas Eve the new infections of Covid-19 in the department reach 1,452. This Friday the Headquarters registers the death of two people, as a result of complications of this disease. The Accumulated cases of 2022 already exceed -by 3,542- those of 2021eight days before the end of the year.

To date, the 15 Santa Cruz provinces have positive cases of coronavirus.

Vaccination did not reach a thousand people this Friday the 23rd, when 931 doses were applied to prevent severe forms of Covid-19.

The percentage of vaccination with first dose remains at 76%; in 65%, with the second, and 21%, with the third.
