A recount of the most significant events that have occurred in the last 24 hours to understand the death of Carlos Alberto Colodro, auditor of Banco Fassil:
1.- Homicide personnel removed the body from Colodro outside the Ambassador building where he was working Saturday night. After identifying the body, shortly before 10:30 p.m., Felcc officers transferred the remains to the morgue of the Pampa de la Isla hospital.
2.- A forensic report it is made known. The Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, pointed out that Three aspects are highlighted in this document. as causes of death. “Traumatic shock, with multiple lacerations in the internal organs and polytrauma as a result of the fall,” he said.
For his part, the lawyer for the grieving family, Jorge Valda, denounced that the body had “multiple bruises (…) He did not have an eyeball, nor did he have a testicle”. In the press conference held by the Minister of Government, del Castillo expressed his willingness to investigate all the hypotheses. Among them, the possibility that Colodro had been attacked before his death.
3.- The existence of the letter is known found, presumably, in Colodro’s office. Minister Del Castillo, who alluded to the existence of the letter, asked for prudence before assuring the possible authorship of it to the controller. To do this, he announced graphological tests to determine if it was a letter from the inspector. Only one of the two pages, which supposedly make up the letter, was released.
4.- Reactions. Authorities, parliamentarians and politicians demonstrate around the death of Colodro. Official supporters and opponents coincide in demanding transparency in the investigation of the death. They also demand greater transparency to know the investigations related to the operations of Banco Fassil. In this second request, they question ASFI.
5.- Collaborators who worked with Colodro during the month that he led the intervention of Banco Fassil, told EL DEBER that the man had expressed your wishes to resign controller, due to the constant pressures he received.
Carlos Alberto Colodro worked as head of operations of the Financial System Supervision Authority (ASFI) and, since April 26, he was appointed as controller of Banco Fassil.
