The preliminary growth data for the year 2021 should be known in March and will be revealed by the National Institute of Statistics and Census.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) updated its estimate of economic growth for 2021 from 9% to 15.5%, a performance similar to that forecast by the agencies Fitch Ratings and Moody’s, which point to 15%.

According to MEF calculations, the nominal GDP would have reached $63,718 million in 2021. Despite the rebound, the size of the economy would not reach the level of 2019.
