The president of the National Assembly (AN) of 2020, Jorge Rodriguez, led a day of Street Parliamentarianism from the El Valle parish, in Caracas.
«We started the Street Parliamentarianism in the endearing El Valle parish listening to the people, who are the ones who will guide the legislative agenda based on the 7 lines of action. The deputies and deputies will be in the street every weekend for the debate with our people », he asserted this Friday, January 20.
Rodríguez assured that the AN will not approve any law that backs the people. «We have come to listen to them and listen to them, to know what the National Assembly. We must obey your voice,” said the leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) from the El Cidral Sports Field in El Valle.
At the same time, Jorge Rodríguez expressed that this Friday’s activity was “an assembly so that the people see our faces face to face and can tell us without any type of mediation, directly, without any type of office, without any type of representation, but here directly, face to face with the people of this parish that I love so much, they can tell us how we are advancing towards the construction of a future, towards the construction of a possible and necessary prosperity for the people».
According to the AN, on his social networks, the deputy reiterated that “this is the moment and the year in which all the laws of popular power must be strengthened.”
