One person died and four injured was the result of a traffic accident that occurred this Tuesday morning, on the Valencia-Puerto Cabello highway, specifically near Las Trincheras.
According to witnesses, the event occurred when a cava-type vehicle that was transporting sardines to the Carabobeño coast lost its brakes and hit the wall that divides both directions of the highway.
The deceased was identified by the authorities as Felipe de Jesús Yánez Marcano, 45, who was driving the truck. While the injured respond to the names of Alexis José Betancourt Jiménez, 45 years old, and Efrain Jesús Pérez Ascanio, 35 years old. Two people remain to be identified.
Members of the National Guard, Carabobo Police and Invialca officials went to the place, in order to investigate the event.
