A tragic traffic accident was recorded On the Huánuco – Ingo María highway, at the height of the cantilever bridge, in the León Pampa (Chinchao) sector. A white kia car violently hit the lifeguard, allegedly because the driver fell asleep behind the wheel. The clash left a deceased person on the spot and two serious injuries.
Acomayo Health Center staff quickly arrived to help the survivors, who were transferred to the Tingo María hospital. The victims receive specialized medical care, while the authorities already investigate the causes of the incident.
Images disseminated by witnesses show the damaged vehicle and belongings scattered on the road. Police officers and representatives of the Public Ministry were present at the scene for the corresponding proceedings.
