A 16-year-old teenager lost his life and four other people received injuries to the truck rollover, whose driver tried to avoid loose animals on the road. The event happened this Tuesday afternoon in the Matanzas municipality of Colón.
The deceased was identified as Yandry Padilla Hernández, according to report of TV Yumuri.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m., in the area known as La Pollera, at the entrance of the “Flor de Cuba” Poultry-Based Business Unit, according to this source.
The vehicle was carrying a load of sweet potatoes and the driver dodged several animals on the road, the Matanzas provincial government specified on its Facebook. As a result, he lost control of the steering wheel, causing the truck belonging to the Agroindustrial Sugar Company of Mexico to overturn.

The injured received medical attention at the Mario Muñoz Hospital, according to the report. Only one had been left under observation, but his health was not in danger.
Authorities from the Party, the Government and the Provincial Traffic Directorate and the Ministry of the Interior appeared at the site.
