Captain Álvaro Farfán, Cundinamarca Fire Department delegate, reported that several people were injured after an accident, in the middle of an amusement park attraction in BojacáCundinamarca, leaving two individuals with injuries to their bodies.
According to the captain, the event occurred after a mechanical failure in the attraction known as the “Chicago Wheel”, which stopped unexpectedly and left one of the cubicles suspended in the air with users on boardfor which moments of panic were experienced on the afternoon of this Good Friday.
“This afternoon there is an emergency in the municipality of Bojacá, due to the failure of a mechanical attraction, for which, immediately the activation of all first responders is done where the assessment of nine people is made, three of whom are minors,” he said.

He also explained that Of these assessed people, only two resulted in considerable bodily injuries, for which it was decided to treat them at a health center. due to cervical traumas and others due to lacerations, to determine their condition as soon as possible.
“It is necessary to transfer two patients, some due to cervical trauma and some lacerations, which are referred directly to the care centers. At this time, the competent authorities are advancing the actions to be able to establish the things that generated this incident,” he mentioned.
