The Municipality of Mayarí, in Holigunwas this Saturday’s stage on Saturday Traffic accidentsand one of them initially left five fatalities and a person in serious condition who died after being transferred to a hospital in the provincial head.
As reported in his Facebook profile of the newspaper now, the people who died were traveling in a car leased to tourism that moved from Holguin to Moa.
Preliminary information indicate that the incident occurred when at the height of the Castillito bridge the driver lost control of the car, which ended up impacting a large metal pipe.
Among the deceased are Yancarlos Jiménez Carmenate, 12 years old, and resident in the United States, as well as Daniuska Carmenate Galván (43 years) and Adriel Jmaénez Pelegrín (37), apparently parents of the child.
They also lost their lives in the place Rachel Pelegrín González (77) and Yaddelis Pérez Osorio (37), who resided in the town of Las Coloradas, belonging to the municipality of Moa.
In an update in the Facebook profile of the local journalist Emilio Rodríguez Pupo, it was reported that Yannelis Pérez Osorio (33) would have died after being transferred in serious condition to a hospital in the provincial header to be treated by the traumas suffered.
Rodríguez Pupo also reported that hours later a vehicle belonging to the port of Moa suffered an accident that did not leave fatal victims, but several injured who were treated at the Hospital de Mayarí and in the Levisa Polyclinic.
According to that report, the driver declared that he tried to dodge a cyclist with a maneuver that caused the vehicle – to appear personally – left the road and ended up turning.
Of the five injured, two were transferred to the Holguin hospital for presenting an open ankle bill and a skull trauma. A 53 -year -old patient suffered a fracture of fibula and two were reported with several bruises.
He adds that the incident occurred near the entrance of two bays, in Cabonico.
