A student of the Los Padres de la Patria Educational Center, in San Antonio de Guerra, was wounded after falling part of a wall of concrete on his legs, which caused a fracture on the left leg and one injury on the right ankle, according to his family.
Beatriz Jimenez, teaching of the educational center which operates in a premises of the Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA) – previously an animal farm – indicated that, at the end of the recess, the student sixth grade student approached the wall, which was cracked, and began to push it with some classmates. Even though the other students warned him of the danger and left, the boy continued playing with the wall.
Behind him incidenthe student 13-year-old, identified as José Adrián Cruz, was assisted by a unit of the 9-1-1 Emergency System. Subsequently, studies were carried out and he was transferred to the Ney Arias Lora Traumatological Hospital, where he is waiting to undergo surgery.
According to Michael Alcántara Corsino, the boy’s older brother, a intervention urgent due to the state of his legs. He commented that they are waiting for the quote of the hospital to proceed, since the family does not have sufficient resources.

This incident occurs after a survey carried out by the FEDA and the Ministry of Education in the educational centerwith a view to responding to the request of the authorities of the school for its conditioning and reconstruction.
