After a sudden spike in cases of coronavirus in the country, today’s figures fell again. According to the latest epidemiological report issued by the National Ministry of Health, In the last 24 hours, 1,697 new infections and 44 deaths associated with the virus were reported.
In sum, today the country accumulates 9,006,526 confirmed cases of coronavirus and a total of 127,483 deaths related to the illnessthe second highest infection rate in all of Latin America and the fifth in terms of mortality.
On this day, the province of Formosa was the only jurisdiction in the country that did not register cases of coronavirus in the last day; while the Province of Buenos Aires accumulated the highest incidence of infections in the entire territory, with 592 infections in one day.
