Abrego: “I am convinced that we have the majority of the bases and we are going to win on July 9”

The deputy and presidential pre-candidate of the Cambio Democrático party, Yanibel Ábrego, referred to her candidacy for the primaries on July 9 where she faces Rómulo Roux and Olmedo Guillén.

“This movement has been going on for more than two years with the hope of returning better days to Panama, with the hope of a better life expectancy for Panamanians, to take them into account, something that the defeated leadership of this party has not done,” Ábrego declared.

Regarding her decision to go for the presidential candidacy and face her main rival, Rómulo Roux, Ábrego said she felt convinced that she would win resoundingly “I am convinced that I have the majority of the Cambio Democrático bases and that is the determination that led me to In making this decision, we have the largest number of members to face each other at the polls on July 9, where we are going to win resoundingly with a team that is used to winning elections.”
According to the election calendar issued by the Electoral Tribunal, next Sunday, July 9, the primaries of the Cambio Democrático party will be held at the national level starting at 7 in the morning.
