Around 85 thousand insured members of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) who receive the benefit for temporary incapacity (formerly sick pay) have until today (11) to schedule the medical examination. They were summoned by the agency’s fine-combing operation to verify possible irregularities and will have their benefit suspended if they do not undergo a new inspection.
On September 27, the INSS summoned 95,588 policyholders to schedule medical examinations until November 11th. According to the institute, so far only 10,397 have scheduled the exam, with 85,191 likely to lose their temporary incapacity allowance.
The complete list of those invited can be consulted in the Official Diary of the Union. Since July, the agency has been sending letters to 170,000 policyholders. the skills started in august. Those who receive the notification have 30 days, counting from the date informed by the Post Office, to schedule the procedure.
According to the INSS, people called through the official diary they were not located in the agency’s database addresses or received the notification letter, but they did not mark the expertise.
The exam can be scheduled in three ways: through the My INSS application, through the 135 Service Center or through INSS page on the Internet. The beneficiary must bring the following documents on the day of the examination: identity card, Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF), recent medical exams proving the incapacity to work and a report with the doctor’s name, registration with the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM), disease code/ICD (international classification) and description of the disease.
