The president of the Venezuelan Chamber of Entrepreneurship (Cavempre), Elías Rodríguez, said that about 80% of the Venezuelan population is undertaking or wants to undertake in the medium term.
He pointed out, in an interview in Radio Unionthat of that “great universe” of people who already have their entrepreneurship or wants to do so, “about 65% that began on January 1 of this year fails to reach December 31 with successful operations.”

Rodríguez added that one of the aspects that makes them maintain is the “passion for what they do.” Another aspect to take into consideration, he said, is the constancy, not to place the money as the goal of that project and the training.
As for the investment, he said that he will depend on the business model and emphasized that another diligence that every entrepreneur must do before starting activities is to validate the idea of the business.
He also considered that women are the ones who undertake the most in Venezuela, although the difference between the two sectors is less than 5%. «We are talking that in Venezuela it is almost even. I would dare to say that they are more women than men, but the difference is so small that it almost does not glimpse ».
