About 10 million 500 thousand Cubans have received at least one anti-COVID-19 dose

About 10 million 500 thousand Cubans have received to date at least one dose of one of the Cuban vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala, reports the Ministry of Public Health.

At the end of January 1, the figure amounted to 10 million 449 thousand 231 people – those vaccinated with Soberana Plus are included as a single dose -, of them with a second dose nine million 305 thousand 938 people and with a third dose eight million 945 thousand 262 .

Nine million 672 thousand 873 people have a complete vaccination scheme, which represents 86.5 percent of the Cuban population; and 30 million 888 thousand 612 administered doses accumulate in the country.

A total of two million 188 thousand 181 citizens have booster doses, of them 140 145 as part of the clinical study and two million 048 thousand 036 as part of the booster vaccination that is being applied to the population of selected territories and risk groups .
