Santo Domingo – President Luis Abinader will travel to the city of Santiago this Tuesday 29, to exhaust until Wednesday, an extensive work schedule.
At 10 am on Tuesday, President Abinader will lead the opening ceremony of the Sabana Iglesia-Jánico highway. At the end of this activity, a coffee will be taken with the community members of the area.
Later, the head of state will inaugurate the emergency area of the Sabana Iglesia Hospital and will deliver an ambulance for the operation of the center.
The president will continue with the inaugurations, leaving the Trunk Electricity System in operation in the Baitoa sector.
Later, President Abinader will give the first punch for the rehabilitation of the Noriega II Potable Water Treatment Plant. Later, he will give the first punch for the housing project in the municipal district of Hato del Yaque.
Subsequently, Abinader will begin the reconditioning work on the Gurabo ravine.

Wednesday acts include Battle commemoration of March 30
To continue his agenda on Wednesday in Santiago, the head of state will attend the Tedeum at the Santiago Apóstol Cathedral at 9 in the morning to commemorate the 178th anniversary of the Battle of March 30.
Later, he will lead the commemorative acts of the Battle of March 30 in the street of Las Carreras de Santiago.
Then, in the Cienfuegos sector, the president will begin work on the construction of the Monorail that will connect Santiago and Santo Domingo.
The President will also attend the inauguration of a church in the mentioned sector.
Similarly, in Cienfuegos, the president will supervise the special programs of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (Propeep). At the end, he will have a lunch with businessmen from the city of Santiago.
The head of state will continue his agenda in the Ciudad Corazón with a visit to the apartment project in the El Salado sector. Later, he will lead the opening ceremony of the new SENASA offices on February 27 avenue.
President Abinader will culminate his work in Santiago de los Caballeros by participating in the signing of the agreements between INFOTEP, Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and Dominico Americano. This activity will be held at the PUCMM campus.
