Santo Domingo. – The president Luis Abinader He planned to travel this Wednesday, Christmas Day, to the United States with his family, to attend to family commitments during the Christmas holidays for several days.
This was reported by the spokesperson for the Presidency and director of Strategy and Government Communication, Homero Figueroathrough their social networks.
According to the spokesperson, President Abinader is scheduled to return to the country on Monday, December 30.

He specified that while President Abinader is away, all official activities will continue to take place “with total normality.”
“The Presidency of the Republic reiterates its commitment to keep the population informed about any developments, during the period in which President Abinader is outside the national territory,” he said.
Figueroa did not say, however, what time, where he would leave or to what exact place in the United States the head of state is going.
