President Louis Abinader left this Monday morning for San José, Costa Ricato participate in the third Summit of the Alliance for Development in Democracy.
The president’s departure occurred at 7:20 in the morning on a private flight from the San Isidro Air Base. It is scheduled to return by the same route on Monday night.
When offering the information, the Presidency indicated in a statement that the head of state was fired at the military terminal by the vice president, Raquel Peña.
Also participating were Pilot Major General Leonel Amílcar Muñoz Noboa, Commander General of the Dominican Republic Air Force; Brigadier General Minoru Matsunaga Matsunaga, Director of the Tourism Police (Politur) and Major General Carlos R. Febrillet, General Director of the Specialized Body for Airport Security and Civil Aviation (Cesac).
Summit
The objective of the summit is to advance and specify actions undertaken in the areas of political dialogue, cooperation, trade and investment. It will have a one-day conference, and it will address economic, political, business and other regional interest issues.
President Abinader is accompanied by the ministers of External relationships, Roberto Alvarez; Tax authorities; José Manuel -Jochi- Vicente; and of Industry, Commerce and MiPymes, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó. Also, the head of the Presidential Cabinet, Eilyn Beltrán, in addition to his personal assistant, Mercedes Pichardo.
At the end of the summit, there will be a declaration signed by the participants and a meeting with the press, where the date and place of the next meeting will be announced.
