Abinader travels to Mexico to attend the inauguration of Claudia Sheinbaum

Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader will travel to Mexico City this Monday to attend the inauguration of the president-elect, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

The president will leave in the afternoon and arrive in the Mexican capital in the early hours of the night.

On Tuesday, October 1, starting at 10:00 in the morning, President Abinader will participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who will become the first woman to occupy the presidency of the United Mexican States. This event will take place at the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro, with a start scheduled for 11:00 in the morning.

After the ceremony, the President Abinader It will move to the National Palace of Mexico, where a greeting and an official photo will take place, as well as a lunch offered to the heads of State and Government, as well as the leaders of the delegations.

Abinader will return to the country on Tuesday night.

On this trip, President Abinader will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez, and a small delegation headed by Eilyn Beltrán, Director of Cabinet; Mercedes Pichardo, personal assistant; General Jimmy (ERD) Arias, director of CUSEP; Colonel Rafael Ramírez, member of the escort; and Daniel García Archibald, press director of the president.
