In a spirit of recognition and optimism, the president Luis Abinader said goodbye to 2024 highlighting the work of the Armed forces and the National Policewhile sharing his best wishes for next year.
In a message issued on December 31 from the Armed Forces Command Center (C5i), Abinader thanked the men and women who work tirelessly to guarantee the country’s health during the Christmas festivities.
«Their dedication and courage allow us say goodbye to the year calmly and give the welcome to 2025 with hope,” the president expressed through his social networks and the official WhatsApp channel.
The president stressed his gratitude to public servants: «I want to express my most sincere recognition and congratulations to all members of our Armed Forces and the National Police for their dedication and commitment. Thanks to you, Dominicans can enjoy these celebrations in peace and unity.”
Taking advantage of the occasion, Abinader extended his message of gratitude to the families of those in uniform, who with their support contribute to the well-being of the nation.
He also conveyed a message of hope and unity for 2025: «May this new year be full of health, prosperity and great achievements for everyone. United as a nation, we will be able to overcome the challenges and build a better future for the Dominican Republic.»
