Santo Domingo.- The President Luis Abinader He assured that the electric service will return to normal this Sunday, after a fault in the Punta Catalina’s thermoelectric plant that has affected the supply in recent days.
The Head of State made a supervision tour this Saturday through the facilities of the plant, where he was informed that the fault was produced by a “click on a boiler”.
After the visit, the president was optimistic about the prompt resolution of the problem and, with a close tone, he said: “Tomorrow the heat is resolved”in reference to high temperatures and the need for electric service to mitigate them.
It is expected that with the repair of the fault, the National Electrical System Recover your stability and put an end to interruptions that have affected the population.
