Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader affirmed that his intention is to improve the quality of life of all members of the Armed Forces and the National Police, of whom he said that the vast majority are serious, honest and hard-working people who have given their lives in favor of the country.
When participating in the inauguration of the renovation of the workshops of the Presidential Security Corps (Cusep) and other works carried out during his administration, the president expressed feeling that he was of those members of the Armed Forces and the National Police.

“They are risking their lives in the streets, protecting the Dominicans, they are risking their lives also on the border, maintaining the integrity of our country. We will also go to the academies of the different forces supporting them ”, said Abinader.
During his visit to Cusep, Abinader announced the execution of a housing plan for the benefit of all members of the institution and of the Armed Forces and the National Police in general.
He said that the Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa, has met with the authorities of the Ministry of the Presidency to initiate an ambitious housing plan for members of the military corps.
