Santo Domingo.- The president Luis Abinader returned to the country after 3:30 in the afternoon this Thursday, after his trip to San Juan, Puerto Ricowhere he attended the inauguration of the new governor, Jenniffer A. González Colón.
The head of State returned through the San Isidro Air Base and was received by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General, Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre.
During her speech the Governor González Colón, assured that relations with the Dominican Republic They will be strengthened during his administration.
Also projection that both nations will continue to reap economic ties and friendship, as there always has been.

The Dominican president arrived in the Puerto Rican nation at 9:40 in the morning this Thursday and was received by the Secretary of State of Puerto Rico, Verónica Ferraioli
The head of State left the country at 9:00 in the morning for the San Isidro Air Basewhere he was fired by defense ministerlieutenant general, Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre and the general commander of the Dominican Republic Air Force, pilot major general, Floreal T. Suárez Martínez.
The president traveled accompanied by Foreign Minister Roberto Álvarez; the vice chancellor of Consular and Immigration Affairs, Opinio Díaz Vargas; the directors of the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII), Luis Valdez; of the Presidential Office, Noelia Shephard and the head of the Presidential Security Corps (CUSEP), Major General, Jimmy Arias Grullón.
Also attending the inauguration of the governor were the Dominican consul, César Cedeño and the President’s press director, Daniel García Archibald.
